New member from SF/Oakland Bay Area. Finally joining after creeping around the forums the past couple months for aftermarket/off-road ideas for my 2017 super crew 5.0. Feels good to be back in a truck after the past 5 years in a 2013 Fusion hybrid and a 2002 F150 Harley-Davidson before that.

Unless you have family here, you’re missing out on absolutely nothing! I envy your cost of living and the multitude of nonsense you don’t have to deal with in this crazy state!

 

Nope, no family there. We wanted to own land and have a less stressful lifestyle. Couldn’t be happier. I spent most of my life living in CA and was finally so fed up with the cost, crowds and rudeness ( not everyone but lots of them ), we just packed up and left. Bought a nice house on a big chunk of land for the price of a new roof in the Bay Area!
