Default Yet another new guy!

Hey all, just got my first full size pickup. 2023 F-150 XLT SuperCab with the 302A High (is that the right description?) option group. 3.5ECO, 4x4 and the tow package. Pleasantly surprised by how well equipped it, given that it's a lower end trim package. Very happy with it so far, it rides well, it's comfortable, the motor's a beast...and the wife likes it.
Anyway, I'm sure I'll have my share of stupid newbie questions, so go easy on me...

Welcome.

I'm not sure about 2023 specifically, but for 2025 and 2026 the XLT 302a equipment group would be the "Mid" package. 303a is the "High" package. XLT's are basically mid level trims. It seems like there are a lot of trucks above them, but their levels are more lateral than you'd think.
  • XL
  • STX
  • XLT
  • Lariat
  • King Ranch
  • Platinum
  • Platinum Plus (Replaces the Limited trim from earlier years)
You can't really count the TREMOR or the Raptor. They are off road trucks and options wise, beyond their off roading specific features are equal to other trims. The 401a TREMOR is basically equivalent to an XLT 303a while the 402a package is about like a Lariat 502a. The King Ranch and Platinum aren't really all that different. It's more like they have different aesthetic qualities and are themed differently, but are more or less equivalent. The Platinum Plus is basically the Limited trim which is again, cosmetic but otherwise simply includes every option these trucks can have so long as they aren't conflicting.

Appreciate the info. Regarding the "302a High" I was just quoting what was in the AutoTrader ad. Only thing mine lacks that I care about is a heated steering wheel, but with the remote start that's not a big deal.
