Holy Cow this is a huge thread...
Great idea, getting to know the members other than by what truck they own.
I live in San Jose (recently graduated from Cal Poly in SLO, CA) and work as an IT Analyst for Cisco Systems, Inc doing budget planning for all of Cisco's IT.
If you look at your router in your home or your desk phone at work... its probably Cisco

Verizon is one of the most technically challenged companies I have ever dealt with. And yes, I am talking enterprise Tier 1, II and III levels. All a bunch of dopes.
