Lol I've been wanting to go back there. My gf was also born on a base in Washington. Her dad was in the navy also. He was on a carrier. My dad was a SEAL and also aviation electronics.

What I wan to do is go to ranger school, SERE, demo school and crane school. Yes, I can do all of the above. Just gotta be **** hot.

I envy your dad. Nothing more prestigious than Navy SEALs.

What class was your dad? I was there 211-214.

Done ANGER school and SERE. Ranger is difficult but its all about staying healthy. SERE, ya, dont get it wrong, you WILL get caught. You will get beat. You will be ok. Save your rice *****.

The past 5 instructors I've had were deployed 80% or more of their first enlistment. Another one has been in for like 5 years, 8 month deployment, 3 months home, 10 month deployment, 4 month home, 6 month deployment, on and on an on.

Oh I don't doubt it. I just want to. Don't think I'll ever be in **** that thick. But to me it's just another accomplishment I can chock up on the list. And the more valuable I become.

I feel ya brother when i was in the navy i was always deployed. i spend 786 days forward deployed in 7yrs. not to mention the last 1 1/2yrs was spend on shore duty(no deployments) and not to mention i have depoyed to afghanistan as a civilian 3 time since 2008. once for 4mo once for 6mo and once for 2 yrs.
