I live in Omaha Nebraska and work for the railroad here as a Supt. of train traffic controllers. I will retire in 20 months. To get ready to retire and travel the country my wife and I bought a 30 foot travel trailer. I have had a Chevy Silverado (wait don't hiss at me yet). I find it lacks power to pull my trailer the way I would like so like the commercial sez ( I traded my ride) on a 2011 Ford XLT with an Ecoboost engine. To get all the options I wanted I had to order 1 through the dealer and it is presently being built. I have test driven 1 several times and done a lot of research on this V-6 Ecoboost motor. What a powerful unit 342 horsepower out of a V-6 with 420 lbs of torque at 1500 rpm. Ford is making a comeback and I have left the darkside to join up. I can't wait to get my Supercrew Bronze metallic machine. I know I will love this badboy and can't wait to break it in pulling my trailer and passing Silverado's and Dodge's on the hill without leaving 6th gear. LOL

Howdy, I'm a retired truck driver. I have owned Fords for several years, and I guess old Henry Ford new what he was doing. I have a 1997 Ford f150 XLT. 4.2 engine with automatic OD (after 27 years of shifting the big trucks, I appreciate the automatic)
