I recently became the proud owner of a 2014 F150 FX4 EB SCREW and I couldn't be happier! My first truck and it's kind of a big deal :-)
Bought it with only 71k miles. Lift, tires & wheels and running boards added by the dealer. I've had my fair share of hiccups early on including:
1) New studs because the dealer didn't tighten the lug nuts and 3 broke between front and back driver side tire in the first 24hrs
2) Replaced vacuum pump and exhaust manifold
3) Backup camera already out
4) Potential IWE issue on driver's side...still investigating
I'm getting to the point of starting to enjoy it and I'm even beginning to customize it. (Obligatory photo below is from when I first bought it a couple of months ago but light mods already in place and more to come).
Like many others, I have a ton of questions so the search engine will be my friend. I've definitely used this site a lot from web searches so I know good information is here.
Thanks in advance for all your help! Looking forward to learning from all of you!
Looks like the start of a fun journey. I'd definitely go round checking everything the dealer touched to make sure they didn't make a lug-nut style mistake anywhere else, that's pretty basic.
Trust me, I feel like I'm losing my mind...so many small issues, ticks and things that just don't sound right since the tire issue...wondering if it's some sort of used car PTSD...LOL (I kid).
