Waiting for this Day!!!
Hello all,
My name is Dayne and I live in Connecticut.
I am picking up my first F150 tomorrow. It is a 2011 5.0 super cab FX4 fully loaded. I have been looking/saving for this exact truck for 2 years ever since they came out with the 5.0 engine. I have also been lurking on the site for two years but I didn’t feel comfortable becoming a member until I had the truck. I grew up in a ford only family. My dad has only had f250/350 trucks. My mom drives a 2003 150 and now I will be graduating into one. I look forward to sharing my experiences in the future and thanks to you all for keeping me motivated into the long searching and saving process.
My list of things to do right away are...
- tinting the front windows to match the rest of the tint
- banks single outlet exhaust
- remove running boards, hood deflector, mud flaps, bed step (all of which will be for sale)
When I get it home I will be sure to upload pictures. I look forward to reading everyone’s comments.

Well here she is. I had to drive 20 hours to get her but it was worth every minute. I was shocked to see that the previous owner already installed a Manaflow exhaust and Airaid intake, as well as every accessory from the ford catalog. As of right now I do not know what else to do to her besides tint the front windows to match the rest. Later on I am sure I will level her and add bigger tires. I am very happy with this truck.
