Default Two years later

I bought this puppy two years ago and kept meaning to make an account, but my life is a never ending dumpster fire train wreck (altho it could be worse!)

2003 Supercab XLT, all these submodels are so confusing. I finally thought of using an f150 vin checker, which led me back here again and I made the leap. Also, the vin checker is super helpful.

I bought it from a friend who used it to haul trailers for years and as a daily, I think he is the second owner. About 183.9 and now at almost 202. He replaced the alternator right before me. I did front wheel bearing over the summer this year (including being a dummy and pushing the brake pistons out and not having a piston tool, which was fun at 10pm) and front pads and passenger rotor. Probably shouldve done both rotors, but it was sounding fine, altho a little pitted.

The pic is from 23 and that mirror was rekt in a sideswipe, thankfully no other damage to either of us. I still need to replace it, but looks like ttt mirrors is gone. Need a new exhaust and muffler, but Ill get to that when I have money (ha). Frame has been rewelded I think during my friend owning it. Got some surface rust and panel rust, but its been oilcoated for years. And my odo likes the bug out randomly, which I understand needs a quick solder. Tire change coming up, but overall done me pretty well and Ive always wanted a truck. Wish i made more use of it but its been super useful when Ive needed to haul stuff. A friend said when you get a truck, suddenly youll have lots of friends...

Happy to finally be here!
