This turned into a larger than expected intro
Hello all
I’m new to the forum but not forums in general. My name is Josh from Tx & I purchased a 1998 ford XL 4.2 on Sunday. It is currently my 3rd ford. I also have a 2010 mustang GT & a 1999 ford contour. I’ve had a couple rangers in the past as well. I’ve already come across & started using some of the stickies on here such as the throttle cable zip tie mod & plan to do the intake mod I think it’s the GOTTS one. Ive already replaced my cluster, HVAC, & reverse lights with LEDs. Today I removed the throttle body to clean it as that was something I’ve done on my other fords but turned out to be barely dirty at all. I ordered a radio harness to get a JVC deck that I have laying around installed. Id like to level the rear out, what is the best/better/worst options? I seen shackle kits on eBay starting around $40 but I wanted some opinions first. & I also wanted to say hello :waving:

Welcome Josh! I also run a Ford Truck as well as a Mustang. Have owned 6 Mustangs and currently on a 2015 Comp Orange Procharged GT. Retired from the Navy in South Carolina but was born in Pasadena and spent some time in the Navy in Corpus Christi.

that’s awesome I’d love to see pics. comp orange is a great color my 10 is grabber blue! My 10 is my 4th. I had two 2005s, one sixxer & a GT, a 1998 GT.

I'll find a few...here are the ones I had, 96 Mystic Cobra, Zinc Yellow Procharged 02 GT, Comp Orange Twin Screw 04 Cobra, 04 Mach1, 11 5.0 and now this one.
