Currently lve in AZ and have a 2016 FX4 3.5 Eco Boost and love it. The wife and I are thinking of getting a trailer to pull so I need to start researching this. I hope my truck will work.

You need to take a look through the towing forum. There is a lot of great information there regarding pulling all kinds of trailers.
