Well, Prould new owner of a 2014 Sunset Metallic FX4 Ecoboost with the 400A package. Pretty much loaded up without the Sunroof or Nav.
So far I've added some AMP Research Power steps, Backflip F1 Tonneau Cover, Aeroskin Bug deflector, Weathertech mud flaps, and a couple of rear window stickers.
The level of comfort and features kicks some major ****. I previously had a 2009 F150 XLT, but traded it in to upgrade some of the items i was missing, like the boost engine, leather heated/cooled seats (fav feature), Power folding towing mirrors (second fav feature) and full MFT platform.
I'm 5000 km's in thus far, if I baby it, i can squeeze out 12 Liters/100 kms, but i usually stab the go pedal here and there, which pushes me up to 15L/100kms on average.
I like the HID headlights, but i'm thinking that i need to point them down bit as it's still blindind some car drivers. The cutoff on the beam pattern when turning corners kinda sucks... but light output down the road is much improved over the 2009.
Unfortunately, i've already had to touch up a few paint chips on the box, and get a dent pushed back out on the other side of the box (mother-in-law fell into it?!!?!).
The Truck pulls hard, drives smoother than my 2009, and feels well put together. The buttons, dials, and such inside feel better to the touch as well. The sound system (sony) still kinda sucks for bass punch.
Looking forward to many great miles in my new ride.
