Default Stepping in to say Hello

Hey everybody!

Just wanted to introduce myself. I found you site in quest for information, while trying to decide on my next truck purchase.

I've always been a GM guy, but I'm really considering making a switch, as I really like the looks of the 2015+ F150 Trucks. I just sold my personal truck (20007 GMC 2500HD Diesel) and have a 2010 F150 XL SuperCab that is my daily driver work truck. I'm probably looking at an XLT as I've read the incentives are usually better, but there are a couple of options that I can only get in the Lariat that I would like to have, so right now I'm not sure what I'll be getting.

Anyway, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks for letting me look around.

UPDATE 10/20/2020

Well, its only been a few years, but I've finally moved on purchasing a new F-150 (I suffer from over analysis paralysis, so it takes me a while to make up my mind ). I didn't end up buying one back when I joined the forum because I was provided one for work and just couldn't justify going and buying a new truck when I didn't really need it. After my 2010, I was upgraded to a handed down 2016. Its also been a great truck so far.

Anyway, I'm changing jobs in another month or so, and so that means the company truck has to go back. My new job gave me the option of a co. truck or a program where I own my own truck and get a reimbursement. I chose this route because I wanted to be able to use my truck for personal use. So...I'm back...with my shiny new 2020 Ford F150. I picked it up last week but have only put a couple of hundred miles on it so far as I haven't changed jobs yet and still have the 2016 to drive for now.

Here she is

2020 F150 XLT 302A with most of the options but a sunroof. 3.5 Eco.

Don't currently own my own truck. I just sold it. I'm just driving my work truck until I buy something else.

Only mod so far is a builtright ind. rear seat release I had in the 2016. I also have one of the builtright dash brackets I might install for my phone mount.

List of upcoming mods:

Husky wheel liners (ordered)
Husky mud flaps (ordered)
Ford Soft open tailgate damper (ordered)
Upgrade from factory all weather liners to Husky liners (still debating)
LineX install planned in a couple of weeks (scheduled)
Access Roll up bed cover (in process)

Then its time to put it to work at the new job. Enjoying it so far. Not a ton different from my 2016, just a few more creature comforts.
