Default Southern AZ Checking In

Glad to see there are a good number of folks out there as anxious for the new 2015 as I am. This will be my 5th new F-150 since 1984 (also 2-F-250s along the way). These days my truck is primarily my camper tow vehicle and I've ordered a Lariat SCREW 6.5', 3.5EB with many of the extras. Way overkill for my 3500# trailer (and about 500# camping stuff in the bed), but I'm running above 7,000' for the majority of it and I'm hoping the low torque band of the 3.5EB will keep the revs low and the ride quieter than the old reliable 5.4. Oh... and they brought back the driver's side pillar grab handle, way to go!
I've been getting a ton of info from the forum... many thanks. Spent a couple of evenings reading the owner's manual already.
