Default Should this be mine?

Looking to join the f150 family. Wanted some experienced opinion on this one. Got a guy selling his 2006 f150 fx4 short bed. It has 93k miles and clean paint and interior. Some sort of tires wasn't sure. He wants 8k for it. Why do you think??? I could send a pic to someone if they'd like to post it for me or see! Hope to join soon !!

if thats the one you really want i would try to talk him down on the price...without knowing any of the options or anything else a 96 ford f150 in excellent condition with 93k miles on it is worth around $7,989 according to kelly blue book.

or better yet try to find one with less miles. i get a lil leary of paying boku bucks for a vehicle with high mileage with no papers or way of knowing how well that person took care of it...but thats just my 2 pennies.

I would jump all over that if I were you, assuming the truck is in good condition of course. Around here a truck like that usually sells for close to $15k from a dealer.

Welcome to the forum, Sounds like a sweet deal but see if it has the spark plugs changed. Because ford used a 2 piece spark plug in there 5.4 V8 and they are notorious for breaking and get stuck in the heads which is a PIA to get out. Also if it sounds like a diesel the engine has had the cam phaser's gone bad which is another costly repair. But other than that these trucks are awesome.
