I just made the switch from a 2008 F350 6.4 to a much more VA/DC commuting friendly 2013 F150 EB. Still not sure why I owned an SD diesel as I never hauled or towed anything with it but I am really happy I made the change to the F150.

I found this site while trying to decide on the 5.0 or 3.5 and I'm looking forward to digging through the mod/performance posts as I try to decide how to turn Ford's blank canvas into my custom ride.

I've talked to many SD owners that have also wondered, "Why did I get this?" I think you'll love the EB and the F150.

 

Day 4 of ownership and my doubts have started to disappear. The truck is a lot smaller and that takes some getting used to but I have no complaints about the way it drives. The first time I put my foot in it to merge into traffic I was shocked at how quickly the truck went from a dead stop to moving past 60 mph. The damn thing is so quiet (compared to the SD) and so smooth that I never would have guessed it was capable of that kind of "oomph."
