Hey guys i've been looking for a nice truck to tow my 68 Torino Drag car, and after much debate between a f250 diesel and a f150 5.4. I've chose a nicce 04 lariat 5.4 near me.

From what i've read the best things to do for these trucks performance wise are
Gott's Intake mod
Turner (imput on brands and tuners welcome)
And exhaust (are we talking just mufflers or full header back?)

(possibly exhuast ideas)

Check out the 2004-08 thread... Or check out the members build thread... We each detail the steps of our mods.. But to answer some of your questions I did not do the gotta mods... I went with a CAI... Added a programmer with custom tunes.. If you tow and have 3.55 gears you could bump up to 4.10 for a little ease and still have a good fuel economy... Exhaust... So many options... I did a modified true dual setup..

I have no idea what amount of power each mod added if it did at all.. They were all done at the same time..
