Default Reverse Midlife Crisis

Good morning all. New member here from a VERY small in in AZ.

I have always been a sports car guy, and even when I didn't own a sports car, I wanted to own the best version of a vehicle I liked, and I have been fortunate in my life to be able to do that. My 36th Birthday recently passed, and I decided I needed to trade off my highly modified 2010 SS Camaro for something more practical...(hence the reverse midlife crisis)...a pickup, either a Silverado or an F150. Needless to say, I ended up with the F150. The overall build quality is just stellar...Go to a lot and open and close the door of a new Silverado, then open and close the door of a new F150. There is simply no comparison.

Anyway, we ended up with a 2017 STX in that beautiful blue flame color. We got the base motor, and I have to say, that motor is WAY better than I could have expected. It's as powerful as the Hemi RAM we had in 2005, and feels quicker. We're absolutely in love with the truck, and it's a nice compliment to our 2016 Flex Limited.

On the Forum to learn about all of the little tips and tricks and fun things that can be done to the F150. Hoping to add a small subwoofer to the existing stereo to give it a little more punch...And will probably change out the door speakers too for a little more balance.

About the Photos...The New Truck, My old Camaro (I still have the bike...Let's not be crazy), our Flex.

Thanks for joining. That's a nice truck. Love that color!
