I had a diesel F-250 over a decade ago and loved that truck. Next I got a Ram 1500 and it was an excellent truck, but not a Ford. I finally traded in again and scored a barely used 2017 F-150 XLT with under 12,000 miles...even qualified for a new car warranty. Very happy with it so far, nice to return to Ford. I have to hand it to Ford regarding the 2.7L turbo....friends who have had the engine for a couple of years say great things about it and I find it accelerates a bit more crisply than the Ram's 5.7L hemi. Don't get me wrong, that big hemi was great and didn't do too bad on mileage...17.5 mpg daily driving and 20 mpg on the highway. But so far I've gotten close to 19 mpg city driving- wow!
Looking forward to joining the F150 owners community.
Here it is, a 2017 Ford F-150 XLT in Race Red (not really my first choice of color, but you are limited when you buy a used vehicle) with FX4 package, Sport package, and 20" wheels...plus previous owner added a bedliner and tonneau cover:
Under 12,000 miles and previous owner took meticulous care (just the new vehicle oil change plus 10,000 mile oil change) and records to show it. I am happy with it so far!
