Hello from a lifelong loyal GM guy, who finally took a chance and bought a F150 two weeks ago. 11 of my last 12 vehicles were GM cars, trucks, and SUVs, with the one exception being an ‘80-something Escort I bought for $300 while in college. My last 3 trucks were all GMC (‘93, ‘08, ‘14), but I wasn’t impressed with the latest ‘19 revision of the Sierra. So, I test drove an ‘18 F150 and was surprised on many levels. Two days later, I bought a 2018 F150 Platinum Supercrew in Blue Jeans color. After about 250 miles, its so far so good, but I’ve dropped about $5K in upgrades and accessories (level, wheels & tires, console vault, bakflip bed cover, etc.). I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on this truck already, and I hope it lives up to my now elevated expectations. Thanks for having such an informative forum page for newbies like me.
