Forgive me brothers and sisters, for I have sinned.
I have always owned a Ford truck until about 4 years ago, when I traded in my 2001 F150 for a Silverado 1500 LTZ. That ended up being a poor decision on my part. I was just never completely comfortable with the truck. However, I have seen the error of my ways and I have recently purchased a 2016 F150 XLT with the 3.5L Ecoboost engine. I must say, it is a night and day difference between the two trucks. The performance and comfort of the F150 is so much better. When I first climbed in and sat down, it was like I had just returned home after being gone for a long time. I am not the most mechanical of guys, so I hope to gain some knowledge from the site and hopefully I can be a productive member and contribute as well.
I am originally from Alabama but have lived in Ohio for about 20 years now. I work for a company that develops Operations and Maintenance manuals for equipment ranging from appliances to airplanes. If anyone has an interest in BBQ, I am a pretty good BBQ pitmaster (thus my name) and am more than willing to provide advice. Anyways, I have attached a few pics of the truck.
