I bought my first BRAND NEW F150 just a few months ago (back in the Summer) and I LOVE THE TRUCK!!! I have been a pastor for 28 years now and also have a lawn care business in Baldwyn, MS. Within the last month I have had a problem with the battery going dead anytime I did not drive the truck for 2 days or longer. Once I jump it off it cranks and runs fine as long as I drive it every day. Over Thanksgiving my family and I went to the Smokey Mtns in our van and I returned Sunday night to a dead battery. It jump started just fine and continues to crank and run fine as long as I drive it daily. My dealership's service department says the computer is not throwing any codes and the battery, alternator, etc... checks good. I have not installed any aftermarket parts of any kind. Does anybody have any suggestions. I love my new F150 but this issue is troubling me. I know something is pulling my battery down. HELP . . . PLEASE HELP . . .
Hello and welcome.
You'll have more results to your question to your post in the proper thread. (many members don't read this one)
Good luck.
BTW... by "brand new" do you mean 2013? If that is the case I don't know why you are not covered. Also, as the problem is occurring every 2 days, just leave it at the dealer for them to start. Perhaps then a code
