Hello all,
Have had fords all my life and we just got an 2007 f150 supercrew xlt and love it, way more room then the ranger.
Have a ? for you also what does ford think about pure synthetic oil in the 5.4? and how many miles between changes.. look forward to the answer and meeting you all....

Welcome to the site! As far as the what type of oil, I'll have to agree w/S.Chic...it is really a heated topic w/MANY opinions. Ford recommends oil changes every 5k miles I believe, but I have heard that most of us (a lot of us at least) like to get it down right around 3500 I believe.
Yours is the same Make/Model/Trim that I've got and I LOVE it. She is four weeks old yesterday and I've already put in about $4000 worth of mods into her already. Watch out for that modification bug cuz once you get bit, your wallet will never feel the same!
