Hey everyone, just traded my 2017 XLT (302A, 4x4, 2.7l Screw) for a 2020 Lariat (501 Mid, 4x4, 2.7l Screw) - I couldn't pass up the 0% financing.
I've already upgraded the headlights (low/high/fog) to LED, transferred my stubby antenna, seat release, AEM air filter, and tonneau cover from the XLT; tinted the front windows (including windshield brow) to match the rear, made some FORScan mods (Bambi mode, no double honk, auto-fold mirrors, heated/cooled seats control on entertainment screen, 5x turn signal tap), and added a matte black AVS bug guard, in-channel vent visors, raised tailgate letters, Husky mud flaps, and Husky wheel well liners.
I was stupid and didn't remove the box link from my XLT, so that is next on my list to add, then I am debating Linex or a bed rug.
Just wanted to say hi, I've been lurking and learning from many of you for a while.
I picked up a F150 STX 2x4 yesterday, and was surprised how strong the 2.7 engine is in Sport Mode.
I received in incredible number of sales incentives on the deal, plus I got a $3,000 coupon in the mail last week that motivated the sale. Mine has most standard STX items plus the locking 3.55 gear and the upgraded Sport seat with console. Including sales taxes, it was about $32K total cost which I consider a bargain.
When I compare how nice this vehicle drives, it makes my 2003 F250 crew cab with the last of the 7.3 engines drive like a log wagon. The F150 rides like an old Crown Victoria which is a good thing.
