I'm new to the forum, but have been a ford fan since I've been old enough to drive. My truck has 284XXX on her and I've never had to do anything major to the engine when this one goes out, I'll get another 5.4 pre-2004. I do construction, currently relocating towards Columbus area for more work. I do everything I possibly can to my own vehicles, I don't believe in getting raped by a mechanic especially when they usually trial and error like I do. Hopefully I can help others out just as much as they help me.
