Hello all. Ordered a 2012 XLT 3.7, 2wd with tow and convenience. I was sold within the first 100 yards of the test drive. Ordered it three weeks ago and dealer said it would be 8 weeks plus till delivery.

The last 10 years I have suffered through a 2002 Ranger, and a 2006 Tacoma. Both trucks had numerous problems. Making it worse was two worthless dealers incapable of fixing them. I am in NH where dealers are sparse, so opted to try a dealer 50 miles away.

I have a couple friends with 6 cylinder (4.2?) F-150s and they love them except for the low gas mileage. From what I am seeing on the forums Ford has helped that with the 3.7. Looking forward to the upgrade. I live in western NH which is very hilly and wasn't able to get better than 15.5-16 with either the Ranger or Tacoma. Hoping for 18-19 in the F-150. I'll be sure to post pics when it is delivered.

For those of you wondering about a 2wd in NH, I have two other 4wd vehicles and can use them in bad weather. The truck will be more a cruiser and bulky item hauler.

That's to bad about ranger, I've got a 2000 ranger (4.0 v6 4x4) with 200,000 miles and hardly any major problems over the years. I still use to move dirty things around in from time to time. It's been a work horse.

Welcome to the forum, I'm new as well and also waiting on my new f150.
