Default Noob from Oregon

Greetings all!

I just purchased my first F-150, and am extremely pumped about it.

2010 F-150 Lariat (the dealer said Chrome, but I'm not sure) 4-door, 4-wheel drive, 5.4. It is nice, and is a fantastic replacement for my 04 Grand Cherokee Overland.

I don't have any plans for much in the way of mods, but I am in desperate need of increasing the MPG on it. Yes, I know it was low from the get-go, but I want to do what I can when regular is 4 bucks a gallon.

I will try to get a couple pics loaded.

I also didn't get a manual with it. (Bought used from a non-Ford dealer) Anyone know where I can get an actual replacement manual?

Thanks!

Thanks, Lifted.

I went to the dealer to attempt to identify the smaller keyfob (turns out it was the remote start) but the service guy didn't know what it was, and wasn't super helpful.

I need to go in there anyway to get the factory code stuff reset for the doors and whatnot, so maybe I will try to get it then.

Looking forward to spending as much time as the wife will allow in the forums!

Welcome to the forums! Some people claim to get a couple mpg better with some of the aftermarket cold air intake systems and exhausts. I did the exhaust on mine and I'm looking at the 77 series cold air intake system from K&N. Both can be done for under a grand and if it actually saves some gas, I figure it should pay off. If not, my truck sounds cooler and has a few more hp.
