Nick, Still learning
My name is Nick Pappas.
A friend sold me my first car, a 1957 Ford Fairlane convertible which we rebuilt together. Since then, car work has been required as I must transport myself to work, apparently for the rest of my life. I worked 42 1/2 years as a Electronics Technician for the United States Navy. 25 Years at the Naval Ordnance Lab. in White Oak Maryland and 17 Years at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Carderock, Maryland. I have performed Electronic Systems Fabrication, machining, welding, Nuclear Radiation Hardening, EMP work, Underwater Explosive Research. I retired at 65 and am now 73. I like to help people when I am able and may know about the issue. My 3 daughters and 6 grandkids don't need as much support now and it seems like they are helping me more these days.
