Smile Newnold

Hi all. Just signed up. I have a 2001 Supercrew 4wd Lariat with 137K. I've owned this truck since 2003 and am responsible for 87K of the 137 k miles.
It's been a great truck for pulling the boat and hauling the crew. It just developed a miss after it warms up and I suspect a bad plug or cop unit. will replace the plugs first. anyone have a recommendation for an ODBII diagnostic tool? I'll post after the plugs are replaced and let you know if that helped.

Thanks, hihosilver

Default Plug 3/4

I replaced Plugs 1&2 qnd restarted after each one with no apparent change. I then replaced plug 4 and 3 as I realized I could not get to plug 4 with 3 installed. The check engine light went out after changing these plugs. The next day I replaced plugs 4-8. What a pain in the a__! I checked each COP with a meter and the resistance was in spec on all 8.
I havent had time to drive it enough to get it warmed up so I'm not sure the plugs eliminated the miss when warmed up but I'm hopefull. The videos on this site for plug change were very helpfull. THANKS!
