Hi all,
Name is Robert and i'm on my 4th F150. This one being a 08 with 4.6.
Previously i'v had a 98 F150, 4.6l that a hail storm totaled with 188,000 miles on it.
an 89 F150 with 300_i6, she was totaled in a wreck with 197,000 miles on the dial.
And my first was a had me down from my dad 82 351w traded her in with 232,000 miles on the dial.
its funny, that 82 got the best gas mileage of any of them after platinum plugs, new wires and premium gas. (20 years ago). 17 mpg average!
Joined the sight because i'm afraid i've bought my last ford if another spark plug blows out of the head!
I did a search and read through several threads and i'm hoping it will only occur this one time. But this was an awfully significant repair to have on a truck with less than 65,000 miles on it.
