Newcomer from Maine
Hi Guys,
I just purchased my 4th F150. It is a 2015 XLT Super Cab with 9,300 miles. I have always bought used. Usually about 2 years old. I've had great luck
with all of them. I'm a Ford Diehard. I can't bring my self to even consider another brand. That being said i know they all have there issues.
I have checked this forum out a couple of time already and have read some
very informative information. One thing i'm going to do right away is have
the front passenger door checked out. I have to slam it to get it to completely close. I have also ordered a shorter antenna after reading some of the post.
The truck I bought has the 2.7ltr. Eco Boost engine. I was very skeptical at first. The truck had everything else that i was looking for including a different color than most (Bronze Fire) with just enough chrome. The salesman said get in it and try it before rejecting it. I'm very impressed with the get up and go. Seems to go up hills with no problem. The only thing I tow these days is a Bass Boat. If I where still towing a camper around I probably would have stuck with a V8. I'll let you know how I feel as I use
the truck more. I did buy the extended warranty. First time ever. The thing
has so many sophisticated computerized features that control everything.
I would appreciate any advice you guys have to offer.
Thanks,
LW
