Yea,I plan on posting some when he gets them to me. It's a $300 wonder.

 

Ha some of the most fun I ever had was in an old beater P/U !
There's just some things you cant do with a new truck! lol

 

Thing is it's not a really a beater but words can't due it justice. I'll admit he got it from a long time friend. Guy wanted $500 but after a short unsuccessful bit at trying to start it he told him $300. It sat next to a chicken house for 2-3yrs and the rodents moved in. REMARKABLY the wiring damage was so minimal that we had it running the evening after he trailered it home. The two biggest pluses are only 40k on the rebuilt 302 and except for a 10-12" line of rust at the edge of the bed left wheel well the body and frame are perfect. He's a good mechanic with the right tools so after burning a lot of midnight oil it's tagged,inspected,and on the road now.

Welcome to the F150 Forums! Glad to have you join, any fun performance mods plans for the truck? :-)

 

FINALLY a couple pics. No performance mods I know of. Just working on getting it back in original form then getting it painted. Mostly he's just using it as a truck hauling for his family and friends. For some reason it seems you acquire a lot of friends when you have a p/u.

 

That's a darn good looking truck for $300 bucks
