Newbie from MI
Finally registered after browsing and getting valuable info since i bought my 04 and just traded it in two months ago on a 2014 S crew cab 4x4 XLT 5.0. I found myself looking for threds to see if others have had some same issues that I'm having that the dealer mechanics say are comin.
Shudder at take off
slight misfire at idle
Sight vibration felt at 60mph
front tires showing cupping on outside edges at. Only 2500 miles
Used one Qt oil in the first 2000 miles

welcome. What part of MI? I am in the Northwest.
I've owned 3 of the modern trucks Crew Cab 4x4 an '09 with the 4.6-not much power and crappy seats not very comfortable.
'11 Eco SCrew Traded it in on a '14 cuz I got a good price and it was Brand New and not a used like the other 2. The only probe I have had were on the '11. I had the front end clunk which they could never diagnose or reproduce so it went un fixed and I had the Vacuum pump go on it at 70k miles. It was the first year of the eco boost and it was great. I have read great things about the 5.0 as well.
My current has the Ecoboost as well in Crew Cab Fx4. Love it.
