Hi there...I am the brand new owner of a marvelous 2013 f150xlt ecoboost screw. I bought it used, but without many miles. Three things have been done to it, which inspires me to continue the ploy of being a true head turner. I have black bush wacker fender flares, aftermarket 20's, and dark tint.
My next two ideas are to do headlight/tail lights, and nerf bars. I can figure out the nerf bars just fine....but it's the heads/tails that are perplexing me.
See I run across many black or smoked heads and halos/projectors on ebay...with prices from 100 for a pair, to 600 each side. I even saw a DIY mod that you oven bake and paint the inside. I found the DIY mod and was on board till I realized my whole headlight is the shiny reflector. So please, a little help. I thought it would be as simple as getting a new headlight, a new bulb and being done.
So until I get pics can someone please help me, what kind of heads do I have? What are acceptable replacements, preferably without having to rewire or add relays, and since it is just an xlt, is pretty much anything an improvement?
