Default Newbie from GA

Just signed up. Been on other truck forums and looked this one up to find answers to help inform myself for possible trade/purchase of a F150. Currently have a 2011 Toyota Tacoma double cab 4x4 and may be looking to go back into a full size due to needing more room. I love my Tacoma but may need to go bigger.

So anyway I'm interested in how the eco boost engines hold up and perform? Do they actually get the mpgs they advertise? Would love the V8 with a nice exhaust but if these trucks get the mpgs that are claimed I may have to go that route. I do plan to do a lot of research on here to find my answers but just thought I'd drop a thread to tell a little about why I'm here. Thanks.

Bought my 2016 F150 with the 3.5 l EcoBeast.
Awesome horsepower and decent gas mileage 30% better than my 2011 Dakota with V6.
Lithium gray with Sport 4X4 package.
No regrets and 6000KM on the odometer.

Is this a 4 door? What do these trucks mpgs actually average? I average about 18 in my Tacoma and need to at least get that. Can't see getting any worse as far as money goes. If I find I can truly average at least that in a full size 4 door and if these engines are reliable, I may just have to go that route.

Hello Birddawg,
I'm also new to this. Dumb question, can you tell how I can post a question on this forum.

I've been on other forums as stated so just a matter of finding the right topic and you can start a new thread from there. Should be a tab in the top left somewhere that says start thread. I'm still learning to navigate this on as it is a bit different from the others I've been on.
