Newbie On Deck.
Hello Everybody,
I am new to this sight. I'm from Elk Grove California, near Sacramento, and I just purchased my very first 1992 Ford F150 XLT. I love Fords and have had three Fords in my life including this recent purchase. So, here's what's going on with the truck.
I go to Smog and Go and they were nice enough to not charge me and gave me advice about my missing rear fuel tank. They said that I can either cap the fuel lines and remove the fuel sending unit that are just hanging or get a new rear fuel tank. I know that was a lot and I was aware that the previous owner stated that the original owner removed the rear fuel tank.
I'm not mad but I do have a couple of questions as to why people remove their rear fuel tanks other than having issues?
Well, that's enough for today. I'm not quitting on my F150. She looks good and interior is pretty good. Any feedback would help.
Thanks again,
Mike Marquez
