Welcome smokey,
Have no fear of changing spark plugs, just read GatorB8's sticky here
https://www.f150forum.com/f4/5-4l-3v...09-07-a-56871/

You can also go to the "search" box and enter "spark plugs" and get an ear full. Hope all goes well for you!

I had my plugs changed last month and after serious debate went with Champion one piece platinum plugs plus anti-seize .

The Motorcraft one piece plugs only fit the newer model Fords--2009 and forward, as I recall.
