Cool Newbie

Hi To The Members

I am a newbie to this forum but to trucks. I just picked up a very nice and well maintained 2008 F150 4x4. i Have been a licensed driver since 1960 My first truck was my fathers 1959/60 El Cameno a gentlemans tuck forsure. I am now on my seventh truck and my second Ford. I downsized this past week from a 1 ton Dodge to the sleek F150 4x4. I think this is the best one yet. I have made no changes yet as it was just picked up today. I might be older then many but I love my trucks and I truly look forward to learning a whole lot about it through this forum.

Bruce

Welcome to the forums. I got my drivers license in 1958. I beat you by 2 years.

We lived on a farm in northwest Michigan and I was lucky to even get one that old. One thing about it was that on wintry roads, it handled better than most other cars. I never realized it until I later got a 48 Buick and couldn't go around corners like with the Chev. My friends all had newer cars and couldn't keep up with me until I got the Buick.
