Default Newbee here Stepped up from ranger to f150

Hello all,

New to f150 and this forum. The 2000 xlt 50,000. miles is new to me. Rides great will upload a pic soon. Gotta get to know how to get around the forum first.

Other car got totaled so now wifey & I share this truck. 15mpg highway and 13 around town sound about right for the 4.6 v8 triton?

NOt thrilled with gas mileage, but still cheaper then maintaining 2 vehicles.

Welcome aboard.
Your mpg sounds about right. Can't expect economical mpg in a truck.

you will like it . They got some pep. Dont know how tall you are but should enjoy the space in cab. Also its nice to slide a 4x8 sheet of plywood between wheel wells . cant close tailgate on shortbeds but thats fine .
