Just came on this afternoon, 10-22-11 and really like this site. Had two F150's since trading in wifes AMC Eagle back in mid 80's. First one was standard cab with surprisingly responsive 300-6 cyl. Another Ford owner claimed it was the gearing in the standard tranny or rear end. Present truck-4WD stock 96 XLT, auto tranny-351w. Only changes is the Premier Pioneer stereo and Memphis speakers, and Cobra cb. Its been combo work horse and transportation with the wife using it on snow drift days in winter. I found the forum looking up some maintenance advice on power steering fluid changes. Unbiased information is the best knowledge in my book. Great to be here, I'll be dropping in again soon.
