Default New user…with issues

lol… just joined to figure. I would get some information here to help me figure out what’s going on with my truck which I’ve already posted on. I finally learned there’s an inertia switch in my truck after owning it since 08’. Drop the fuel tank two days ago and just got it back in yesterday to find out it still wouldn’t start because I hit my fuse panel. Cover a little too hard and popped my inertia switch. I’ve worked in the automotive industry on and off and ran auto centers for a few decades and never knew there was a darn inertia switch in my truck.Boy, do I feel like an idiot…lol. Oh well, Well lesson learned. Guess I have an issue with my gauge cluster too because my tank would run out starting two years ago at a quarter tank reading and only goes up to three-quarter tank reading when full. With the new one piece fuel pump sending unit. I filled it up yesterday immediately and it went to 3/4 of a tank again so it didn’t fix the issue of the incorrect fuel reading. Feel free to give me suggestions on how to fix it. I’m guessing I need a new gauge cluster? a couple years ago ago my brake light would come on and if I tapped the dash it would go off. Did squeeze the connection together and tape it up and it lasted a long time, but the brake light is now on and won’t go off again. Guessing It’s all related and I just need to replace my cluster? sorry… New user kind of a double post.

Hello there. Most manuals describe how to reset the fuel pump cutoff switch. KM
