New to Truck world, and New to Ford
Hi,
Might as well post in here but I wanted to say this site is great. I just picked up a 2015 F150 SCREW 2.7. I always wanted a pickup but always had a commute and wife wouldn't agree with selling her Xterra.
I was looking at used Titans (QA nightmare), Frontier (Too Small), Tundra (Gas Hog), Taco (Too Small), and early gens. I won't be towing 12K or going offroad but I went to test drove a 2015 and ended up walking out the door with one.
I am coming from a 2014 Accord b/c I thought I was going to commute but ended up with a great job with a 5 mile commute. Told the wife I was doing it, got that look, but decided to get her a 2015 Subaru to replace the Xterra as she was doing all the driving around town but wanted something not a sedan. Compromises, only if congress could do that.
Looking forward to loving on this truck. It is hard not to treat her like a garage queen but "beater truck" turned into new truck. Its a 4x2 but looking at making it very utilitarian.
