Hello everybody. Just bought a 1994 F150, my third Ford truck. The first was a 1985 4.9L carbureted, put 260k miles on it then got a 2009 Ranger 2.3L, put 170k on that great little truck and now a 1994 4.9L Supercab 81" bed automatic. It had 117k when I bought it. I wanted a newer F150 but I have concerns with some of the late model quality not to mention the price. I wanted a truck that I can fix, and I don't want no dang seat warmers or entertainment center. Bench seats! Gimme an Amish F-150 and I'll be happy. The truck was not taken care of and lots of things are original and in bad shape.
Anyway, just replaced the entire cooling system, filled it up today. Next is the entire braking system, U-joints and carrier bearing, shocks, all bushings, a careful tranny refill and filter, entire power steering, front wheel bearings, rotors and drums if needed, axle drain and refill, plug wires, all filters, etc.
