Default New from Texas

Been lurking awhile trying to decide on the next truck, and I finally found the right one this past Saturday. Added a 6" Rough Country lift on Monday with 20" RockStars and Toyos, and I'm very pleased with it so far.

This will be my truck for a couple of years until I pass it on to the daughter and buy a brand new 2017. Whether that one gets the lift or not depends upon how much I end up liking this one.

My first F150 is a 2010 FX4 Super Crew that is nicely optioned, but not maxed out. No navigation or sunroof, no subwoofer or back up camera, but it has leather and the 3.73s I was wanting, and it is in great shape.

The journey begins.....

Nice Truck!!!!

I just bought my first F150 a couple of days ago. A 2001 Lightning. Love it but have say these FX4's are already tempting me for my next one lol. Maybe a year or two as I really want to enjoy the Lightning for a bit. There rare as hens teeth over here.

I always liked the Lightnings, but I need more than a regular cab and a 4x4 suits me better.

Besides, as my handle implies I have a 1991 Saleen Mustang to zoom around in if I feel the need for speed (and this truck DEFINITELY doesn't fit that bill).

I will be upgrading the alarm this week on the truck so I don't have to be scared to death to park it in and around Houston. Remote tracking and remote ignition kill capabilities are what I'm looking for mainly. I have already ordered a Diamondback 270 with Line-X bedcover and N-FAB 3 step nerf bars, and next year some time I'll be adding a programmer probably but I need to recover from this first round of improvements.
