Default New STX

Just bought my first F150 a 2013 STX SCAB 4x4. I had a few rangers in the past but this is my first f150. So far I love it, plenty of space inside and a huge bed. I got the v6 and so far I'm doing well with fuel mileage at around 18 which i am very happy with.

Welcome to the forum! I've got the same truck as you just a regular cab. Great truck! Glad to hear you like the 3.7L as well.

I went back and forth about getting the 3.7 or 5.0, but after driving the 3.7L i was impressed and between the fuel savings and $1000 lower price it should save me some money. I dont tow more than about 3500 and only occasionally. Plus my truck was a leftover 2013 with the options i wanted: 201A, 3.73 lsd and spray in liner.

Those are the same reasons I bought a 3.7L. Great little engine and have no complaints on it. I never tow more than 4500lbs so it was a no brainer for me.
