Hi all,
Just want to introduce myself and tell a little about my experiences.
I am a retired electrical/mechanical engineer and a DAV US Navy Viet Nam era.
I have owned a lot of vehicles in my lifetime and have replaced radios, updated lighting, just about everything.
I even installed a cool air intake and air throttle body on my last truck a 2004 F150 FX4 5.4L Triton V-8 engine.
I also replaced the radio with an aftermarket and my first one came from Crutchfield as they had the whole package.
The toughest part was splicing all the speaker wires as they aren't plug-n-play. But I found a real easy way to do it.
I use phone wire two wire splice units, available at Home Depot or Lowes, etc.
I did the same on the company Ford Transit Connect. I've become pretty good at it. The most important part of the
exchange is getting the correct bezzle unit for a fast and easy job.
