I recently traded up trucks and am trying to decide what to do as far as modifications to the truck. My last truck (2006 FX4 Extended Cab) had a 2" leveling kit and 33" all terrain tires. I liked the looks, hated the ride, rough ride.

I like the ride on the new truck (2013 Lariat SCrew 4x4) I don't want to make the ride as stiff and rough as the old truck. Will a leveling kit alone without E rated tires stiffen the ride by changing the geometry?

I have already added a Rhino bed liner and Weatherguard low profile box. Going to tint front windows.

Truck color is ruby red with tan trim.

Thanks for the advice.

Hello and welcome to the site.

E rated tires -- bad if you want a smoother ride.
