Default New to site.

Hello, I am new to the site. I have an 2011 F150 supercrew 4x4 with the 3.5 ecoboost. I love the truck but have a shudder issue in 6th gear. It's only doing it under light loads. Took back to dealer yesterday they think it might be a convertor issue. Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions?

Welcome to the club....I have a 4 month old F150 FX2 Crew that has done the shudder since day 1. The dealer says the convertor pressures bounce instead of smoothly increasing or decreasing. I have seen the pressures myself as I was driving while the Tech was capturing data. The feeling is as if the truck is being towed by a tow vehicle on a rope, and the rope tension tightens and slacks. Very annoying.
Even with many visits to two different dealers, no help, no fix, and Ford answered my Customer Relationship Letters by saying the truck was working within normal parameters. Please keep complaining to your Dealer and Ford. Ford has alot riding on the Eco Boost and 6 speed transmission, and it has become very popular. I do not think they have an answer for us, and they will not admit there is a problem until they have a fix.
Problem is, we are all ticking away our warranties.

Thanks everybody. I dropped it off to the dealer on Thursday I had to take the tech out and drive it for them because they couldn't get it to happen. At first he thought it was a convertor issue as well but nothing showed up. I have a copy of the email that he got back from the tech line. They said it was the turbos dumping boost. And they are working on a fix. Of course there isn't a time line yet. I plan on bugging them till they do.
