Greetings!!
New to forum and to the F-150 world. Since 1996 had a 2WD 4Cyl. Ranger. Loved it so much that in November of 2001 bought a brand new 2002 Ranger 4X4 Supercab with the 3.0L V6 and the 4 speed automatic. Really loved that vehicle, it had the EDGE package. Loved it so much I spent 1.5 years searching for a suitable replacement. After it hit 301,000 miles the decision was made to upgrade to the F-150. Problem was, I could not find what I wanted, or should I say, what I didn't want. After three dealers I found one that would special order me a truck with what I wanted. So here goes the description:
2012 F-150XL 4X4 Supercab in Oxford White
5.0L V8 FFV Engine
Electronic 6 speed automatic transmission with select shift
3.55 Ratio Regular Rear Axle
7350.lb GVWR Package
Trailer Tow Package
17" Steel Wheels
Gray Cloth 40/20/40 Interior
Black Vinyl Floor Covering
AM/FM Stereo/Clock
Ordered vehicle on 26 June, picked it up on 24 August. It now has 710 miles.
Added a LineX spray in bedliner, a black low profile WeatherGuard tool box, and had the windows tinted. So far, it is way way more than I expected.
