New owner!
After driving back and forth from six dealers I finally got the price that I wanted for my truck AND got more features. I was looking at used ones, but Ford was running specials so it's only a few k's more and you get a new truck.
I bought a 2017 F-150 XL Extended CAb w/ STX package. The STX package was a great addition. It gave me the touch screen radio, handsfree bluetooth, and rear view camera (which I consider mandatory) without having to spend $6,000 more. The truck I bought from the dealer had extras like power rear sliding window and the 2 110v outlets inside the truck.
With my trade-in I got the truck for $14,500. Everyone else wanted $15,500-16,000.
