I just picked up a '93 Flareside
got an excellent deal on it. The PO said it ran rough and needed a trans. I took a look and a short test drive and decided that his idea of "rough" means it should idle perfectly smooth. It seemed fine to me. When we left for the test drive he said he had limped it for 4 years due to the teams going out. It shifted pretty hard and he said see what I mean? I didn't tell him that it has a shift kit in it 
Overall, I think I got a screaming deal at $800
Not being famiar with standard equipment, here's the specs:
5.8 auto XLT, 175K
pw/pl/ac/tilt/cruise/carpet/bench
I'd say it's in 70-75% condition
Needing some love:
a/c blows warm
window sweeps are shot
shocks (ordered)
headlights are hazy (ordered)
paint
dies 1-2 times when cold and put into gear
Other than that, it's all good
